Private accounts are for individuals selling their own van. A dealer account includes CRM, popup campaigns, ad management, CSV bulk import, live chat and a branded dealer profile page. API access is on Dealer Pro and Dealer Elite. Team invites are on paid dealer plans. Homepage featuring, priority search and the dealer badge follow the plan.

Absolutely. Head to your account settings and select 'Upgrade to Dealer'. You'll complete a short dealer profile setup (business name, logo, location) and choose a plan. Your existing listings are migrated automatically.

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time from your subscription page. A new listing follows the limit on your current plan. Listings you have already published stay live.

The Listings API gives dealers full CRUD access (Create, Read, Update, Delete) to their inventory programmatically. It's ideal for integrating with a dealer management system (DMS), syncing stock from an internal database, or automating listing management at scale.

API keys are generated from your Dealer Dashboard under API Access. Each key is SHA-256 hashed before storage; we never store plain-text keys. You can generate multiple keys (e.g. one per integration), disable them individually, and regenerate if a key is compromised. Each key has a configurable per-minute rate limit.

Every listing shows the cash price with two buttons underneath: Apply for Finance, which links to our van finance page, and Van Insurance, which links to our van insurance page. Vans 4 Sale is not a lender or finance broker, so listings never display payment quotes or finance examples.

The CRM (Customer Relationship Manager) is built for dealers to track every lead from first contact to sale. You can log notes, tag contacts, set statuses (new, contacted, qualified, sold), link contacts to specific listings and view full activity timelines, all from your dealer dashboard.

The Popup Builder lets dealers create branded popups with customisable trigger types (time delay, scroll percentage or exit intent), display frequency rules, and call-to-action or lead capture forms. Leads submitted via popups flow directly into your CRM. Popups can be targeted to specific pages or shown site-wide.

Yes. The CSV import tool lets you upload your entire inventory in one go. You map your CSV columns to our listing fields and we handle the rest. It's ideal for dealers migrating from another platform or syncing from a spreadsheet-based system.

Vehicle Alerts let buyers set up saved searches. When a new listing is posted that matches their criteria (make, model, price range, year, etc.), they receive an email notification automatically. Great for buyers looking for something specific.

Every user has access to self-service privacy tools on their Profile page. You can download all your personal data as a JSON file or permanently delete your account. Account deletion is irreversible and removes all your listings, saved searches, bids, forum posts and profile data.

When creating or editing a listing, click the 'Generate Description' button. The AI analyses your van's make, model, year, mileage, features and any notes you provide, then streams a professional, SEO-friendly description directly into the text box. You can edit it before publishing.
