What this policy covers

This policy covers the Vans 4 Sale mobile app. The app is for browsing vans, campers and motorhomes. There is no account and there are no payments in the app.

No sign-up

There is no sign-up, so the app does not ask for your name, email address, postal address, or payment details.

Saved on your device

Favourites, recently viewed vans, and saved searches stay on the device. Removing the app removes them. They are not sent to us.

Searches and listings

When you search or open a listing, the app requests public listing data from vans-4-sale.co.uk. Standard technical information such as IP address and app version may be processed to deliver and secure the service, consistent with the main site privacy policy.

Diagnostics

The app uses Sentry for crash and error reports. Those reports contain device model, OS version, app version, and error details. They are not used to identify the person or to track them across apps or websites.

Contacting a dealer

Call, email, and website buttons open your own phone, mail app, or browser. Contact after that is between you and the dealer.

Advertising and sale of data

The app does not use advertising identifiers. It does not track you across other apps or websites. We do not sell your data.

Location

The app uses location only if you tap “use my location”, and only to centre the map or sort by distance. That location is not stored and not shared. A typed postcode is not device GPS.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13.
